I pretended for a really long time that I didn't want one at all, because I didn't WANT to want one. But really I DID. And now I have one of my very own, and it is all silvery and awesome and full of This American Life podcasts and music that is inapproproate for children.

Congratulations!
I've been telling my husband for over a year that if he needs to consider a git for me, please consider an iPod. All such blatant hints/requests have flown straight over his head.
Obviously, I must follow your lead and get it myself.
I broke down last year, and now I wonder how I lived without it. There are also knitting podcasts, you know...
My husband got me one for my birthday AND loaded on all my favorite music + new stuff before he gave it to me. Needless to say, one of the best gifts EVER.
Knitting podcasts! OMG!!
Yeah, they're pretty awesome. (The iPods, not the knitting podcasts, about which I know bupkis.)
