It's more of a figurative silence... But no, when Johnny Rotten has "just one more thing" to tell me and it's 10:15 at night, demanding silence is the friendliest thing I can do for/to her.

What's that one, silence is golden? Whoever said that had no children. I don't know about your girls, but mine NEVER stop talking. They even talk in their sleep.

Okay, I'm reading all of your posts (found your link on Dooce). I'm lauging. Iced Tea is coming out of my nose. I think I snorted. And then I see that you live in Minnesota, as do I. So the story about the affluent Minneapolis trophy wives and their botox? I totally get it.
